60 of the Month Competition Winners
The '60 of the Month' Competition is run on our Facebook page and gives all 60 owners worldwide to have a feature done on their 60. As well competition winners receive a small prize in the mail.
October 2017
The October winner is Brittany from Queensland with her 1988 HJ61. Brittany has owned the 61 for around a year and while it's not exactly a baby with 605,000km on the clock Brittany says it still runs like a dream. It has 2" lift, front and rear ARB lockers and compressor, and Brittany describes it as one of her project cars.
"I am taking the cab off the 61 and putting my HJ45 cab and tray on it instead of doing a chop, as the roof in the 61 cab has a bit of rust. I'm a 4th year apprentice mechanic for Toyota so I know a bit about them which helps a lot. I recently sold my FJ55 and bought my parents SWB 40 and just put a 6.2l Chevy diesel in it."
Sounds like Brittany is a Cruiser nut! We will pester her to keep us updated with the cab swap!
